Laguna Seca is a racing circuit in the hills behind Monterey, on the central coast of California in the United States. The camera looks over a stretch of track, the paddock and the grandstands.

The name means dry lagoon: the course was laid out in 1957 around a seasonal lake bed on what had been an army training range, which is why it runs up and down instead of across the flat.

Its famous corner is the Corkscrew, a blind crest followed by a drop of about eighteen metres in the length of a football pitch, with the track turning twice on the way down. Drivers describe it as going off the edge of a table.
