Weather and time
This split-screen picture follows the Union Pacific main line at Wilmot in east Tucson, with warehouses and a mountain ridge behind the tracks. The upper strip is a close framing of the rails, and the lower strip is a wider look along them.
The camera looks east from near CP West Kolb, close to the rail-served Port of Tucson. This is the Lordsburg Subdivision, the former Southern Pacific Sunset Route: westbound trains leave to the left toward Tucson, eastbound trains exit to the right. Amtrak's Sunset Limited also passes this camera.
In the upper panel, strings of freight cars roll past a long warehouse wall, with a dry slope rising on the right. The lower panel shows tank cars beside a large distribution building, an overpass on the right and a ridge far behind.
