Teton Range from Buffalo Valley, Moran Live Cam

This view looks west over Buffalo Valley near Moran, Wyoming, from a wooded slope toward the distant Teton Range. A road runs across the grassy valley floor below, with spruce and bare aspens in the foreground.

Buffalo Valley is an open valley east of the community of Moran, close to the boundary of Grand Teton National Park. The Buffalo Fork of the Snake River crosses the valley, and the meadows along it turn golden in autumn. The Teton Range closes the horizon in the west, with other hills rising on the right.

The camera is fixed and sits above the valley, so the road and meadow are seen from slightly above. When the clouds lift, the snow-dusted crest of the Tetons stands over the valley; in low cloud only the meadow and dark conifers remain in sight.
