Stick of Truth, Grand Targhee Live Cam

This live view at Grand Targhee Resort, Wyoming, is aimed at a tall snow-measuring tube standing on a table by a village deck. Toy figures, including Darth Vader and dinosaurs, are posed around it.

Grand Targhee Resort is a ski area on the west side of the Teton Range, at the end of Ski Hill Road above Alta, close to the Idaho border. The stick is a playful gauge rather than an official snow measurement, and it is cleared daily at 9 am during winter operations.

Behind the table the frame shows a timber building with a deck, an orange food trailer, a grassy slope and a stand of evergreens. In October the ground is bare, while in winter snow covers the slope and the tube becomes the main thing to read. Unlike the plaza and lift cameras, it watches a single small gauge close up.
