This underwater view shows tarpon swimming beside the feeding dock at Robbie's Marina in Islamorada, Florida. Large silver fish glide close to the lens through greenish water, with the reflections of the dock structure above them.

Robbie's sits at mile marker 77.5 on the bayside of Islamorada, in the Upper Keys of Monroe County. The marina is known for its tarpon feeding dock, where visitors toss bait fish into the water and the tarpon compete for it with resident pelicans. The same waterfront also has a seafood restaurant, fishing charters and boat rentals.

This camera sits below the surface, so the tarpon are seen from the side rather than from the dock above. In daylight their silver scales and fins are clearly visible, and the people feeding the fish stay out of frame. A separate camera at the same marina looks at the dock from above.
