Royal Plus, Ocean City, Maryland Live Cam

This camera faces west across Sinepuxent Bay from the downtown end of Ocean City, Maryland, towards the mainland. The bay side is the working half of the resort.

The commercial harbour over the water lands most of the catch in the state and runs the charter fleet. A billfish tournament held there each August pays out the largest purse in sport fishing, several million dollars over five days.

The bay itself is shallow and warm, a nursery for crab and flounder, and the water in the picture is brown with the sediment stirred off its bottom. The town sits on the barrier island between it and the ocean.
