Nashville City Live Cam

Nashville spreads out below this webcam, high above the capital of the U.S. state of Tennessee, in the American South. Low cloud drifts across the frame at dawn, with street lights and the dark line of the river showing through it.

The city stands on a bend of the Cumberland River, and the tower on the bank in view — finished in 1957 — was the first modern skyscraper in the state and the tallest building in it for eight years. The bars of Lower Broadway that made the city's reputation for music are a few blocks from its foot.

River fog forms in the valley on cold mornings and sits below the camera. After dark the frame is street grid and the lit tops of the office towers.
