Dock Square, Kennebunkport Live Cam

Dock Square is the middle of Kennebunkport, a coastal town at the mouth of the Kennebunk River in southern Maine. The camera looks across the shops and the bridge.

The town built ships. Yards along this river turned out merchant vessels through the nineteenth century, and the captains' houses along the streets behind the square are what the money went into.

Walker's Point, a headland a couple of kilometres east, has been the summer home of the Bush family since the 1900s and was used as a working retreat by two presidents. The square in view fills solid with traffic for about ten weeks a year.
