Pine & Palms Resort, Florida Live Cam

A row of cottages and a pool face the Atlantic at Islamorada, about halfway along the chain of the Florida Keys. The webcam turns between the buildings, the dock and the open water.

The tower out on the reef is Alligator Reef Light, a screw-pile iron lighthouse of 1873 built to stand in the water four miles offshore. Six of these were built along the Florida reef; this one was switched off in 2014 and a local trust has been trying to save it since.

The reef under it is the reason Islamorada exists in its present form: divers and anglers keep the place going, and the shallow flats on the bay side are fished for bonefish and tarpon.
