First Financial Bank, Kentucky Live Cam

The camera sits on a bank building at Hopkinsville, in the tobacco country of western Kentucky, and looks over the town. A bypass junction takes up the foreground.

For two minutes in August 2017 this was the most watched place in the United States. The point of greatest duration of that year's total solar eclipse fell a few kilometres north of the town, and something like a hundred thousand people came to stand under it.

The place put up signs calling itself Eclipseville and sold out every bed within an hour's drive. The next one to cross the same ground is due in 2153.
