Glenwood Springs Live Cam

Glenwood Springs sits where the Roaring Fork joins the Colorado River, between canyon walls in western Colorado. The webcam turns across the town and the valley.

The hot spring here feeds a pool a hundred and five metres long, the largest of its kind anywhere, built in 1888 when the railway arrived and the town set out to become a spa.

Doc Holliday came for the water in 1887 with tuberculosis and died within months; he is buried on the hill above the town, though nobody is sure exactly where. The interstate east of here runs through Glenwood Canyon on stacked viaducts widely held to be the most expensive rural motorway ever built in the country.
