16th St. Mall, Denver Live Cam

The 16th Street Mall, the pedestrian spine of downtown Denver, runs below this webcam in Colorado, United States. Lamps and young trees line the granite paving, and café tables stand under the awnings on the left.

The mall runs a mile through the centre, paved in a pattern of red, white and grey granite laid out to a design by I. M. Pei, and free electric shuttle buses work its length. The Daniels & Fisher clock tower, once the tallest building west of the Mississippi, stands partway along it.

The street was rebuilt in the 2020s and the trees in view are the new planting. Office workers fill it at lunchtime and it thins out in the evening.
