Outback Bar, Lamai Live Cam

The junction of Lamai Road and a side street lies in front of this view on Koh Samui, in southern Thailand. Taxis wait at the kerb under the lights, motorbikes are parked along the shopfronts, and people cross between the bars.

Lamai Road runs parallel to the beach for the length of the resort, and this is its commercial strip: bars, massage shops, convenience stores and the Sunday walking market that closes the road each week. Everything in the frame is one street back from the sand.

The junction is at its busiest between nine and midnight. Of the several Lamai cameras in the catalogue this is the only one pointed away from the sea.
