Port of Lekeitio, Basque Country Live Cam

Seen from the Lekeitioko Udala town hall, this live HD webcam overlooks the marina and port of Lekeitio, a town and municipality in the province of Biscay (Bizkaia), in the Basque Country, Spain. In the foreground is a large town square, Independence Square (Plaza de la Independencia), which holds the Lekeitio Town Hall (Lekeitioko Udala) and the Lekeitio Basilica (Basílica de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción).

The island of San Nicolás sits at the mouth of the bay and can be reached on foot at low tide, when a path emerges, with a 200-metre trail leading to a viewpoint. On the right of the view are Lekeitio's beaches, Isunza and, in the nearby town of Mendexa, Carraspio. This Basque Coast town has one of the most important ports on the Bay of Biscay, known for its coastline, monuments, and artistic heritage.
