Railcam Girona Centre Live Cam

The tracks at Girona station run away from this view, in the region of Catalonia in northeastern Spain. The line runs on a viaduct through the middle of the frame, with platforms on the left and a car park below the arches.

Both the conventional Barcelona-Cerbère line and the high-speed route to the French border pass through here, so the traffic mixes local services with high-speed trains running to Paris. The station was raised onto this viaduct when the high-speed line was built through the city.

The stream is run by a local railway enthusiasts' association. Autumn colour on the trees along the viaduct is what dates most of the frames.
