Baix Guinardó, Barcelona Live Cam

Baix Guinardó is a residential district on the hillside northeast of central Barcelona, and this webcam looks out from it. Rooftops step down towards the sea, and the towers of the Sagrada Família stand out on the right of the skyline.

The district sits at the foot of the Guinardó hill, below the park of the same name, with the modernist Sant Pau hospital complex a few streets away and Park Güell higher up the slope. The regular grid of the Eixample begins where the hill flattens out.

Morning haze usually sits over the city and clears by midday. After dark the grid lights up in straight lines and the Sagrada Família is floodlit.
