Simpson Bay Open Water View Live Cam

This Simpson Bay view looks across shallow turquoise water toward the open coast and the low hills on the horizon. Submerged reef patches and occasional swimmers are visible in the foreground.

The camera faces away from the resort buildings, giving most of the frame to sea and sky. Simpson Bay lies on the southwestern side of Sint Maarten, near marinas, beaches and the airport coast. The distant shoreline provides a stable reference as light and water color change.

This is the open-water counterpart to the nearby marina-shore camera. Its uncluttered angle emphasizes visibility, cloud cover and surface conditions instead of the dock, pool and landscaped waterfront.
