The Arch of Cabo San Lucas stands at the end of the point beyond this infinity pool, where the Sea of Cortez meets the open Pacific. Bougainvillea and palms close the near side of the frame.

The pool terraces step down the hillside above the shore, and loungers and shades occupy each level. Rock and surf take up the ground between the resort and the water.

The arch is a granite headland worn through at the southern tip of Baja California Sur. Grey whales pass the point between December and April, and boats run out to them from the marina at Cabo San Lucas, a few kilometres from this camera.
