Palazzo Beach, Florida Live Cam

A boardwalk at Panama City Beach carries this view over the sand, on the Gulf coast of the Florida panhandle. Wooden decking and rails fill the foreground, and umbrellas and loungers are set out along the white sand beyond the dune.

The sand here is fine quartz washed down from the Appalachians, and the shallow water over it gives the pale green colour in the frame. The town runs for some forty kilometres along the shore, almost entirely built up with condominium blocks.
