Cozumel Pier Live Cam

A cruise ship lies alongside the pier at Cozumel, the island off the Yucatán coast in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo. The webcam looks down on the terminal and the water from the shore.

Cozumel handles several million passengers a year and is among the busiest cruise calls anywhere. The ships are only part of the traffic: the reefs along the south-west side of the island account for most of the smaller boats.

Those reefs are the northern end of the Mesoamerican barrier system, and the wall at Palancar has been dived since Cousteau filmed here in the early 1960s. The current sets north along this coast, so almost everything is done as a drift.
