Ryusakuba Intersection, Niigata Live Cam

The Ryusakuba five-way intersection in the Benten district of Niigata is seen from high above, with a pedestrian bridge spanning the junction. Buses, cars and people move along the tree-lined streets below.

Ryusakuba lies in Chuo Ward east of the Shinano River, between the Bandai shopping area and Niigata Station. Five roads meet here, so an elevated walkway carries pedestrians over the traffic. Offices, shops and hotels fill the surrounding blocks.

The camera looks east from the 20th floor of a tower in Bandai, giving a steep downward angle rather than a street-level view. A neighbouring glass facade fills the left edge, while the walkway cuts diagonally across the middle. At night reflections from inside the building can appear in the frame.
