The camera stands at Kansukezaka in Shizuoka Prefecture, overlooking highway structures, local roads and neighborhoods between the viewpoint and the mountain. The broad angle shows how the expressway passes through the built-up area below Fuji's long lower slopes. Haze and cloud can change the balance between the road network and the summit.

The combination of a high urban outlook and a major transport corridor makes this camera different from lake, park and port views of Mount Fuji.
