Weather and time

This camera looks across the Kanda River at Iidabashi in Koraku, Bunkyo, toward a long pale concrete block wall. Ivy hangs from the top of the wall, and a slim water gauge with a red flood danger marker stands near its right end.

The station is in the Koraku 1-chome district, close to the central Tokyo hub around Iidabashi and Suidobashi stations, each about 370 m away. Koishikawa Korakuen Gardens lie about 300 m to the north, and Tokyo Dome City is a short walk from here. An elevated expressway passes over this stretch of the river.

A corrugated metal fence and shrubs run above the wall, and a narrow concrete ledge separates it from the dark, calm water in the foreground. The camera is fixed on this wall, so the water level against the gauge is the main thing that changes.
