Warnemünde Coastal Panorama Live Cam

Warnemünde stands where the Warnow reaches the Baltic, at the seaward end of Rostock in north-east Germany. The camera looks over the harbour entrance and the beach.

The beach here is among the widest on the German Baltic, well over a hundred metres of sand, held by groynes and fed by the same currents that keep silting the channel.

The narrow inlet beside it, the Alter Strom, was the fishing harbour before the modern entrance was cut, and the boats along it now sell fish rolls to visitors. Cruise ships tie up on the far bank, and a sailing festival fills the whole river each August.
