Sainte-Barbe Breakwater, Le Conquet Live Cam

This camera looks at the Sainte-Barbe breakwater and the houses of Le Conquet on the western coast of Finistère. A green and white beacon marks the head of the breakwater, and a sandy beach lies to the right.

Le Conquet is a small fishing and ferry port near the far western tip of Brittany, with boats leaving for the islands of Molène and Ouessant. The Kermorvan peninsula, which carries the Kermorvan lighthouse, lies just west of the town, and the Sainte-Barbe breakwater marks the harbour entrance.

The picture is zoomed in and changes during the day. One frame shows the breakwater with slate-roofed houses, a large modern building and wooded slopes behind it, and a sailing yacht passing in front. Another turns to the open sea, where the horizon and the swell fill the whole frame.
