Pointe du Raz, Plogoff Live Cam

This coastal camera on the Pointe du Raz in Plogoff, Finistère, looks west over the Raz de Sein toward the La Vieille lighthouse on its rock. In the wide view a white statue, the footpaths and the low Île de Sein on the horizon are in frame.

The Pointe du Raz is the western tip of the Cap Sizun peninsula in Brittany and a Grand Site de France. The white statue is Notre-Dame des Naufragés, inaugurated in 1904 near the semaphore. The Raz de Sein is the strait between the mainland and the Île de Sein, and La Vieille stands on a rock in it, with the yellow Tourelle de la Plate close by.

The camera switches between three views: a close shot of La Vieille on its rock, a middle view with the Tourelle de la Plate, rocks in the surf and the cliff edge on the right, and a wide view of the headland with the statue, the paths and the sea.
