Market Square, Uusikaupunki Live Cam

Wide paved market square in the centre of Uusikaupunki, seen from above at the edge of a street with a pedestrian crossing. A glass pavilion stands among the trees and stone paving lines, with red wooden market stalls along the far side.

The square, known in Finnish as Uudenkaupungin tori, lies in the regular street grid of the town centre between Alinenkatu and Ylinenkatu. The town library and a number of shops stand on the neighbouring blocks. Uusikaupunki is a coastal town in Southwest Finland.

The camera is fixed and shows the whole square at once: the street with its crossing fills the lower part of the picture, while the stalls, trees and apartment blocks form the far side. Parked cars gather along the far and right edges, so traffic and parking are easy to follow through the day.
