North Star Express Summit, Kimberley Alpine Resort Live Cam

This camera stands at the top of the North Star Express chairlift at Kimberley Alpine Resort in British Columbia, at 1,789 m (5,869 ft). It looks northeast down the lift line from the unloading area.

The top station is on North Star Hill, where the high-speed quad ends its climb from the base area at 1,237 m (4,059 ft). Below the ridge the ground falls away into the Rocky Mountain Trench, and a long line of Rocky Mountain peaks closes the horizon on the far side.

The camera is fixed beside the station roof. An empty chair hangs in the foreground, the next lift tower stands on the open ridge, and more chairs run down the line below. The wide horizon also shows how much cloud lies over the valley.
