The runway at Guarulhos airport crosses this view, at the main international gateway of São Paulo in Brazil. Aircraft rotate directly in front of the lens, and the low sprawl of the metropolitan area stretches away behind the field.

Guarulhos handles more passengers than any other airport in South America, on two parallel runways, and it is the hub for long-haul flights in and out of the country. The stream carries the tower frequency alongside the picture, so departures can be followed on the radio as well as on the runway.
