St. Petersburg waterfront, Florida Live Cam

Yachts fill the municipal marina at St. Petersburg, Florida, with Tampa Bay opening out beyond the breakwater. Cranes and pilings on the right of the frame mark construction work on the pier approach.

The city sits on a peninsula between Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, and this waterfront is its centre, with a continuous chain of parks running along the seawall for several miles. The Dalí Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts both stand within a few blocks of the basin.

The St. Pete Pier reopened in 2020 after a full rebuild and reaches out into the bay at the top of the view. Sailing traffic crosses the channel through the day, and the webcam takes in the basin, the pier and the open bay in a single frame.
