Weather and time
This fixed camera at the historic train depot in Princeton, Indiana, looks south across the West Broadway Street railroad crossing. Two tracks pass between crossing signals and gates, with blue-doored self-storage buildings and tall trees beyond the crossing.
Princeton is the seat of Gibson County in southwestern Indiana, with 8,301 residents in 2020. Its depot dates from 1875 and now houses the county visitors bureau and a railway museum. CSX and Norfolk Southern freight lines run through town and cross at a diamond less than a mile to the south.
The edge of the depot roof shows in the top left corner, and the view runs straight down the tracks past the crossing. When an intermodal train passes, its stacked containers fill the right side of the frame.
