Pigeon Key, Florida Live Cam

Both Seven Mile Bridges cross the water at Pigeon Key: the modern road on the left, the old railway viaduct on the right. A rainbow stands over the channel in this frame.

Henry Flagler built the older structure for the Over-Sea Railroad, opened in 1912. The 1935 Labor Day hurricane destroyed the line, and what survived was converted into a road until it closed in 1982.

A restored 2.2-mile section from Marathon out to Pigeon Key reopened for walking and cycling in 2022. The newer bridge carries US-1, the only road through the Florida Keys, and the webcam turns between the two.
