Oceanside Pier and Beach Live Cam

A fixed wide camera on the rooftop of Mission Pacific Beach Resort looks west over Oceanside Pier and the Pacific. The frame takes in the long wooden pier, rows of palms, the sandy beach and open ocean out to the horizon.

Oceanside is a coastal city in northern San Diego County, California, and its pier reaches far out into the surf from the foot of the downtown beach. The camera sits on the sixth floor of the resort, right at the base of the pier, so the walkway runs away from the lower left corner toward the waves.

The view stays the same all day, with the pier on the left and a wide stretch of sky and water above it, and the sun sets over the water in this direction. A separate adjustable camera on the same roof zooms in on the pier deck and the beach, while this one keeps a single wide framing.
