Kisatchie Bald Eagle Nest E-3, Kincaid Lake Live Cam

This camera looks into bald eagle nest E-3, set in a tall loblolly pine above Kincaid Lake in Kisatchie National Forest, Louisiana. Twisting pine limbs frame the stick platform, and on the left an arm of the lake shines between the trees beyond a wooded slope.

The nest stands on the shore opposite the lake’s recreation area, about 0.8 miles west of nest E-1. It was found in 2016, and the camera was moved here in 2021 after an ice storm wrecked a nearby nest. The present pair, Alex II and Andria III, raised two chicks here in 2026.

Unlike the E-1 camera, this view takes in the setting around the tree: open water, a slope of pines and hardwoods and the wooded far shore. Some of the broadleaf trees turn red in autumn, while the pines stay green.
