Cheeca Lodge & Spa, Islamorada Live Cam

A resort pier runs out over the shallows at Islamorada, in the middle Florida Keys between Miami and Key West. The camera looks along the beach, the pool and the water.

Islamorada is six islands and calls itself the sportfishing capital of the world, on the strength of the flats behind it and the reef in front. The lighthouse offshore on the horizon is Alligator Reef.

A monument on the main road remembers the hurricane of Labor Day 1935, the most intense to make landfall in the United States, which killed hundreds of veterans working on the highway here and destroyed the railway for good.
