Deerfield Beach Arboretum, Constitution Park Live Cam

This camera looks at a tropical rainforest garden with a small pond and a rocky stream in the Deerfield Beach Arboretum. Palms, bamboo, ferns and red-leaved plants fill the frame around the water.

The arboretum, also known as the Tree Zoo, is a city-owned botanical garden of about nine acres inside Constitution Park on West Hillsboro Boulevard. It holds more than 200 species of trees and palms, and its rainforest garden has small waterfalls and streams between bamboo groves and flowering shrubs.

The view is not fixed: frames from different times show a wide shot of the pond with a low cascade over dark rocks, a closer look at red-leaved ti plants beside the stream, and a low angle through large leaves toward running water. Sunlight breaking through the canopy changes the colors of the foliage through the day.
