Bryant Park Skate Cam Live

Skaters circle the rink at Bryant Park in Midtown Manhattan, with children lined up along the barrier below the camera. The ice is laid out on the central lawn of the park, which is boarded over for the winter season.

Bryant Park covers about 9.6 acres between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, directly behind the main branch of the New York Public Library. Admission to the rink is free, which makes it the busiest skating surface in the city on winter weekends.

The Winter Village market fills the surrounding paths from late October until early March, with stalls, food kiosks and a heated pavilion. Outside the winter months the lawn returns and the same ground is used for films, performances and a reading room.
