Playa de Poniente, Benidorm Live Cam

Playa de Poniente runs across this webcam view at Benidorm, on the Costa Blanca in the province of Alicante. The wave-patterned promenade curves along the back of the beach, sunbeds fill the sand, and an inflatable park floats offshore.

Poniente is the western of the town's two beaches — the name means the setting sun — and it is the quieter one, backed by apartment blocks rather than by the hotel wall of Levante. The promenade along it was rebuilt in the 2000s in a design of concrete curves.

The beach works in winter as well as summer thanks to the shelter of the mountains behind. The old town sits on the headland between the two beaches.
