Rosa Valley, Sochi Live Cam

Rosa Khutor fills the valley of the Mzymta above Sochi, at the western end of the Caucasus range in Russia. The webcam looks over the riverside buildings and the bridge.

None of it existed before 2007. The whole resort was built for the alpine events of the 2014 winter olympics, on a site that had been forest and a few houses, together with a railway and a road up from the coast.

The runs above go from about 550 metres to 2,300, which is a bigger vertical than most European resorts have. The Black Sea is forty kilometres away, close enough that the weather changes on the hour.
