Saigo Port, Oki Islands Live Cam

Saigo is the main port and the largest town on Dogo, the biggest of the inhabited Oki Islands, which lie in the Sea of Japan off Shimane Prefecture. Ferries link the island with the mainland and the other islands of the group. The archipelago is a UNESCO Global Geopark, known for its coastal scenery.

The frame takes in the berths and the covered passenger gangways, a long concrete pier reaching out to the right, the cargo yard with trucks, and the car park in front of the terminal. After dark the quay is lit by floodlights, so ferry arrivals and departures remain visible.
