Murayama Intersection, Suzaka Live Cam

This camera looks over the Murayama intersection in Suzaka, Nagano Prefecture, along the road leading toward the town of Obuse. Several traffic lanes and a side street meet in the foreground, with low houses and a mountain ridge behind them.

Suzaka sits on the eastern edge of the Nagano Basin, on the alluvial fan where the Matsukawa River joins the Chikuma River. Murayama is one of its districts, with homes and small businesses lining the main roads. Obuse, the neighbouring town known for its chestnuts, lies in the direction the camera faces.
