M-Wave Avenue, Nagano Live Cam

This camera watches M-Wave Avenue, a wide multi-lane road in the city of Nagano, Nagano Prefecture, lined with low houses. The road runs straight into the distance beside roadside trees and tiled roofs.

The avenue is named after the M-Wave, the Nagano Olympic Memorial Arena, built as the speed skating venue of the 1998 Winter Olympics. The road lies in the eastern part of the city, linking the arena area with the prefectural road that continues toward Suzaka.

The view is static and looks west along the road from above. An on-screen caption names the avenue and the city of Nagano, and a large white arrow marks the lane heading toward Aeon Mall Suzaka. A street lamp frames the right side, and the mountains on the horizon show up clearly in daytime.
