Mount Nabekanmuri, Nagasaki Live Cam

This viewpoint on Mount Nabekanmuri looks over Nagasaki harbor and the city climbing the hills on its eastern shore. Cruise ships dock at the pier below, and the water narrows toward the city center in the distance.

The summit rises about 170 meters above the bay and belongs to Nabekanmuri Park, in the southern part of the city. At this height the harbor, the shipyards on the far shore and the dense city blocks are all visible at once. Mount Inasa, topped with antenna masts, closes the view on the left.

The camera is fixed and looks north-northwest. The foreground is a wooded slope with a pier below it, the left shore holds shipyard buildings and dock cranes, and the right shore is built up with mid-rise blocks. The ships alongside change from day to day, and after dark the city lights line the water.
