Djúpivogur is a small fishing village on a peninsula between the fjords Berufjörður and Hamarsfjörður. Langabúð, one of the oldest commercial buildings in Iceland, stands near the harbour and now houses a café and a heritage museum. The steep pyramid-shaped peak of Búlandstindur rises above the village.
