Windy Beach and Aquarium Square, Rhodes Live Cam

The view looks southwest from the northern tip of Rhodes town over Aquarium Square to Windy Beach and the hotels lining the shore. Curving paths, palms, agaves and rounded shrubs cross the lawns, while rows of white parasols line the beach on the right.

Windy Beach runs along the western shore of town beside the Akti Miaouli seafront road. Its English name comes from the frequent winds that draw windsurfers and kitesurfers. The aquarium nearby marks the point where it meets Elli Beach on the opposite shore.

This camera faces the west coast: a tall rounded hotel tower rises on the left, and the shoreline curves away toward Ixia with hills on the horizon. Closer in, a paved plaza with a large geometric pattern fills the lower left corner, and stacked beach furniture sits by the sand on the right.
