Panoramic View, Gourette Live Cam

This wide view takes in the cirque of Gourette, a mountain resort in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, with a pointed rock peak at its centre. The village stands small at the left, below forested slopes in autumn colours.

Gourette belongs to the commune of Eaux-Bonnes and sits at about 1,350 m in the French Pyrenees, south of Pau. The resort fills a mountain bowl whose upper slopes carry the ski area, and the road through it continues towards the Col d'Aubisque. Tracks and lift lines wind across the open slopes above the woods.

Where the Front de Neige view stays close to the buildings, this one is taken from a height and shows the whole bowl at once. A car park lies in the lower-left corner, and a caption in the lower right names the view as Gourette Panoramique.
