Serena Waterpark & Ski, Uusimaa Live Cam

Water slides and ski runs share the same hillside at Lahnus in Espoo, twenty kilometres from the centre of Helsinki. The webcam turns between the pistes and the tubes of the Serena park.

The pools opened in 1985 and part of the complex is cut into the rock, with saunas in a cave system under the hill. The outdoor slides in the picture only work in summer; through the winter they stand in the snow beside the lifts.

Serena Ski runs five floodlit pistes and a snow park on a drop of about fifty metres, which is what southern Finland has to offer. The season usually holds from December into March, with snowmaking to cover the thin spells.
