Krapanj, Croatia Live Cam

The ferry quay takes up the whole waterfront of Krapanj, and small boats tie up along the stone edge in this webcam view. The mainland shore closes the channel a few hundred metres away.

Krapanj is the smallest inhabited island of Croatia and the lowest, rising barely a couple of metres above the sea. The ferry from Brodarica crosses in about five minutes and is the only way on and off.

Sponge diving supported the island for close to three centuries, taught here by Franciscan friars, and it is still what the place is known for. Stone houses, the friary and the church of Our Lady of Carmel stand behind the quay, in the Šibenik-Knin county of Dalmatia.
