Queen Elizabeth Way near the Peace Bridge, Fort Erie Live Cam

This view looks west along the Queen Elizabeth Way in Fort Erie, Ontario, where traffic heads east toward the Peace Bridge and Buffalo. A concrete lane for trucks branches off on the left beside a sound wall, while cars keep to the main highway.

The Peace Bridge opened in 1927 and spans the Niagara River where it flows out of Lake Erie, linking Fort Erie with Buffalo, New York. Its name marks the long peace between Canada and the United States. The Queen Elizabeth Way begins at the bridge plaza and runs around the western end of Lake Ontario to Hamilton and Toronto.

The camera stands on the grassy strip between the truck lane and the highway, with a Canadian flag and low shrubs in the foreground. A sign gantry marks the spot where the two roads part, and beyond the median on the right the westbound lanes lead away from the border.
