Christ the Redeemer Cam Live Cam

This live webcam overlooks the statue of Christ the Redeemer (Cristo Redentor) at the top of Corcovado mountain in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The view takes in the cityscape of Rio de Janeiro, the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon (Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas), the statue itself, and the area around Guanabara Bay reaching towards the Atlantic Ocean.

The Art Deco statue was completed in 1931 and stands 30 metres (98 feet) tall, set on an 8-metre (26 feet) pedestal, with a span of 28 metres (92 feet) across. It is one of the best-known landmarks in Brazil and a symbol of both the city and the country.
